“Blackly comic fantasy” ★★★★ Edinburgh Guide

It starred Suki Webster, Dan Starkey, Hal Cruttenden, Phill Jupitus, Liam Williams and Sara Pascoe. It was presented at Pleasance One, Pleasance Edinburgh, August 2013 in a smash sell out run, also being featured on Newsnight Review and across press and other broadcast outlets.

The play – a fast moving satire – is set at the start of another relentless twenty-four hour news cycle. Rachel Clarke has been suddenly promoted at the BBC’s newest head of news. When a crisis erupts she has to confront rivals both inside and outside the organisation, as well as deciding on how to report on a story that threatens to bring down the BBC itself.
