The play – a fast moving satire – is set at the start of another relentless twenty-four hour news cycle. Rachel Clarke has been suddenly promoted to become the BBC’s newest head of news. When a crisis erupts she has to confront rivals both inside and outside the organisation, as well as deciding on how to report on a story that threatens to bring down the BBC itself.
